Environment

Indorama Kokand Fertilizers and chemicals JSC, formerly SC "Kokand Superphosphate Plant" is one of the oldest in the country Republic of Uzbekistan established in the year 1935. After acquisition in the year 2019 Indorama has taken a lot of technical initiatives to protect the environment which is a driving force of its environment policy.

As a manufacturing company, IKFC recognizes that its activities have an impact on the environment. The company constantly strives to be a good neighbour within the localities in which it operates, having the greatest respect for all of the assets and amenities of each community and during its modernisation all inputs from national and International guidelines such as IFC & EBRD is being implemented. During modernisation company is installing scrubber system, dedusting system, effluent tank etc. to ensure the compliance of European norms. New Stacks are being installed and its height has been increased.

IKFC is committed to ensure every aspect of products and processes to ensure that any negative effects on the environment are kept to the minimum and modernising the facilitates to improve the environmental effectiveness.
